Praveena holds a postgraduate degree in Music from the University of Madras where she was awarded the Gold Medal in 2006. She is a recipient of Scholarships from Ministry of Culture and Junior Research Fellowship of the UGC. She is a ‘B-High’ grade artiste of the All India Radio and has completed her Doctoral studies at the Music Academy Research Centre, Chennai, affiliated to Tumkur University, Karnataka. She was initially a resident of Singapore where she was associated with Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS), Apsara Arts Dance production and with Singapore Indian Orchestra & Choir (SIOC). She is currently located at Hong Kong where she runs a music centre for learners of vocal music. She has also performed at prestigious venues in Chennai and abroad in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Kavitha, a senior disciple of Smt. Seetha Rajan holds a postgraduate degree in Music from the University of Madras where she was awarded the Gold Medal in 2002. She has pursued her research program through the Music Academy Research Centre, Chennai, and has been awarded Doctorate in Music by Tumkur University, Karnataka. She also qualified for the post of Lectureship from the UGC. She is a ‘B-High’ grade artiste of the All India Radio. Kavitha performs duet concerts along with her sister Dr. Srilatha Renjith in leading sabhas in Chennai, where their concerts are received well. Presently, Kavitha is running a music school for children in Chennai with more than 50 children learning from her.

Sowmya came under the guidance of Smt Seetha Rajan at a very young age. She chose the path of music as her main vocation right from her school days. She is a recipient of the Junior and Senior Scholarships from CCRT, Ministry of Culture and a Junior Research Fellowship Awardee. She has completed her Masters in Music from Queen Mary’s college. Sowmya has won several Tambura prizes in music competitions conducted in Chennai. She has also trained in the Veena under Late Sri R. Venkatraman. She is presently located in Bangalore and conducts online classes for aspiring learners. She is an ‘A’ grade artiste of the All India Radio and her concerts in various prestigious sabhas in and around Chennai have been very well received.

Amruthavarshini, a senior disciple of Smt. Seetha Rajan, is a UGC Junior Research Fellowship and Senior Research Fellowship scholar. She holds a Post Graduate degree in Music from Queen Mary’s college, Chennai. She has further completed her Doctoral studies from the Bangalore University, Karnataka in the year 2015. Amruthavarshini has won several prizes in music competitions conducted in Chennai. She has also trained in the Veena under Late Sri R. Venkatraman. She is presently located in Bangalore and is a lecturer in the Department of Performing Arts, Bangalore University, Bangalore. She has performed vocal concerts in prestigious sabhas at Bangalore and also conducts music lessons for young learners of Classical Music.

Jyotsna, a senior disciple of Smt. Seetha Rajan, is a recipient of Scholarships from CCRT, Ministry of Culture and Junior Research Fellowship of the UGC. She holds a masters degree from the University of Madras and a Doctorate in music from the Music Academy Research Centre, Chennai, affiliated to Tumkur University, Karnataka. Jyotsna has won several Tambura prizes in various music competitions conducted in Chennai and out station. She has also trained in the Veena under Late Sri R. Venkatraman. An ‘A’ grade artiste of the All India Radio, Jyotsna has performed in many prestigious sabhas in Chennai. She is currently located in Bangalore and teaches many learners online.

Srilatha, a senior disciple of Guru Smt. Seetha Rajan, holds a double Masters degree in Music and Sanskrit with a gold medal in the latter from the University Of Madras. She has been awarded scholarships from CCRT and Ministry of Culture. Srilatha has completed her Doctoral research from The Music Academy Research Centre, Chennai, affiliated to Tumkur University, Karnataka. She is a ‘B-High’ grade artiste of the All India Radio and performs duet concerts with her sister Dr. Kavitha Devarajan. She is currently residing in Chennai and is a faculty in Bala Brundam Sangita Gurukulam conducting online classes for aspiring learners of Carnatic Music.

Arunkumar is a senior disciple of Smt. Seetha Rajan. He is a recipient of several titles and has won 7 Tambura prizes in various music competitions in Chennai and Trichy. Arunkumar is pursuing his Doctorate in Music at Vels University VISTAS, Chennai. He is a ‘B-High’ grade artiste of the All India Radio and performs concerts both in USA and in Chennai. He is also a software professional.

Manikandan, holds a Masters Degree in Music, and has also acquired a Doctorate from the University of Calicut, Kerala. He is currently Assistant Professor in School of Drama and Fine Arts, University of Calicut, Kerala. A student of A. Ananthapadmanabhan and Late Sri R. Venkatraman, Manikandan is a ‘B’ grade artiste in Veena from the All India Radio. He is also a ‘B-High’ grade artiste in Vocal Music in AIR, Thrissur. He is currently located in Guruvayur and performs concerts all over Kerala. He also conducts music classes for aspiring students of Classical Music.
